Match MVP & “impact” line

Each player gets batting points + bowling points + fielding points. The MVP is whoever has the highest total. Ties: higher batting total wins, then bowling, then fielding.

Batting (summary)

• Base: about 1 pt per run (from the card).
• Boundaries: extras from fours/sixes when the card lists them.
• Milestones: bonuses at 30 / 50 / 100 runs.
• Not out: small bonus when 20+ runs and marked not out.
• Strike rate: small bonus or penalty for high/low rate (10+ balls).
• Duck: small penalty when dismissed for 0.

Bowling (summary)

• Wickets and maidens drive most of the score.
• Bonuses at 3 / 4 / 5 wickets in the spell.
• Economy: bonus for a low runs-per-over rate over the spell; penalty if very expensive.

Fielding

• Points for catches, run-outs, and stumpings on the fielding line.

That is why a big bowling spell can score more total impact than the top batsman on the same card. Use TOP IMPACT PLAYERS for group tables built the same way.

Uploaded Wow Moment photos: the MVP / social hero image first checks photos attached to that match, then automatically searches the whole uploads folder for a filename matching the impact player. Use names like brendan-du-preez.jpg, mvp-richards.png, or imran-raja.webp.
